Keeping your references organised with RefWorks (held in A111)

An introduction to using the RefWorks management tool.  Discover the functionality of RefWorks as well as investigating the importance of proper referencing skills and techniques.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session participants will

  • Have set up their account

  • Customised RefWorks to include the correct Referencing format used by the course being studied

  • Know how to import content from a variety of sources, including databases and other online resources

  • Installed and know how to use the Grab-it bookmarklet tool

  • Be able to set up folders to store references in folders

  • Create a bibliography of their references

  • Know the importance of checking that their reference lists meets the University's referencing standards.
