Note Taking and Note Making [online]

This workshop will take place via a virtual classroom in Brightspace. Once you have registered for the event, you will receive an email with the link closer to the event time.

This workshop will introduce you to the essentials needed to make good notes from reading and lectures.   It will also introduce strategies and techniques to use.

By the end of the session you will:

  • Understand the difference between note taking and note making
  • Be aware of the essential information needed when making notes from reading materials and lectures 
  • Be aware of what is involved in producing good notes
  • Be aware of note making strategies
