Get the picture: Visualise your Data

Get the picture: Visualise your Data

"A look worths one thousand words," they say.
Data per se do not convey any meaning unless one becomes able to unfold their characteristics and their possible relationships, It's only then when we can "see" the meaning and reflect on what we see.

This workshop aims to help you to decide which data visualisation is proper for your research in terms of what kind of information you need to elicit from your data. The reasoning presented is the same you may use when you need to substantiate your ideas during a presentation where you are using diagrams and charts. You will also learn how to produce some of the most popular of these diagrams using  Microsoft Excel.

This workshop will take place via a virtual classroom in Brightspace. Once you have registered for the event, you will receive an email with the link  closer to the event time.
