Session Information (this will be an online event)

As we have redesigned the PgCAP and PASSPoRT, this mentoring event aims at showcasing the new scheme and documentation and in guiding those with previous experience and those who just joined the scheme in mentoring PASSPoRT applicants and preparing those who will be mentoring at PgCAP

We will be reviewing the following elements:

• PgCAP and PASSPoRT handbooks
• PASSPoRT guides for applicants
• Guides for mentors
• How to prepare for a PASSPoRT panel
• How to support PgCAP participants

UKPSF Dimensions:
 

• A4: Develop effective learning environments and approaches to student support and guidance
• A5: Engage in continuing professional development in subjects/disciplines and their pedagogy, incorporating research, scholarship and the evaluation of professional practices
• K2: Appropriate methods for teaching, learning and assessing in the subject area and at the level of the academic programme
• K3: How students learn, both generally and within their subject/ disciplinary area(s)
