Finding Library Resources: Introduction to Discovery Online

If you've ever visited the Library Helpdesk, you've probably heard of Discovery -- but what actually is it and how can you use it in your study? Discovery contains all of the library resources we own and subscribe to; you can use it to find high-quality, academic information.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  1. Understand what Discovery is, and what information can be obtained through it
  2. Identify and articulate the advantages of using Discovery
  3. Conduct basic searches, utilising appropriate tools and techniques
  4. Access and manage your library account
