Artificial Intelligence Support Drop-in
Introduction
With the rise of a new generation of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and the introduction of generative AI, it can be confusing to understand how these tools work and how you can use them in your academic studies. Whether you have never written a prompt in your life or you have ChatGPT bookmarked in your browser, you can come along to our library AI drop-in with all your AI-related questions from identifying the most effective tools to evaluating the quality of AI responses. This is your space to get help with writing prompts, setting up AI workspaces, and referencing AI tools whatever your level of study or familiarity with AI.
These drop-ins will be hosted in-person at the library, in the wellbeing area opposite the helpdesk. If you would like online help with AI, please sign up for a 1:1 with Oona under Librarian bookings.
PLEASE NOTE: These drop-ins cover best practice and provide you with practical tips for getting the most out of AI, but make sure you also talk to your module leader or research supervisor to understand the copyright and data protection issues that might affect using AI in your studies and research.
